The New Movement: Toward Sustainability

In the United States today, increased concern about the nutritional, economic, and environmental impact of large-scale commercial farming has led many Americans to place a greater importance on locally grown food. These concerns are especially relevant in Wayne County, Ohio, which is home to a number of small farms and organic producers. Many Wooster residents have joined together to support these farms and provide local, sustainably produced food to the community.
