The Buckeye Agricultural Museum and Education Center: A Forty-Year Effort
By Eleanor Barker
As the saying goes, the best things in life come in good time. It should be noted that patience is required for many of these things, and the Buckeye Agricultural Museum and Education Center is no exception. Paul Locher, a reporter for Wooster’s Daily Record, has spent years researching and chronicling the over forty-year attempt to build an agricultural museum. Thanks to Locher's time and dedication, we have an extensive look at how the still-developing museum came into existence. And with the help of Locher, Ron Grosjean, and others involved in a group known as Friends of Wayne County Fair, the forthcoming Buckeye Agricultural Museum and Education Center will include an extensive look at agricultural development in Wayne County and the surrounding area.
